Ways to reach yes.

Jason’s mission is to promote meaningful communication and strategic negotiation to settle your case efficiently — either pre-suit or at any stage of litigation. Here are some of the roles he can play to help you reach your goals.
1

Mediation

Jason mediates a wide range of civil disputes—from personal injury and contract claims to construction and commercial matters—at any stage of litigation. Whether in person or online, the goal is the same: help avoid the cost, delay, and uncertainty of trial.
2

Settlement Counsel

Jason represents select parties as ‘settlement counsel’ — employing experience and insight to advocate for favorable outcomes via negotiation. Clients benefit from focused, expert negotiation strategy distinct from any ancillary litigation. This role operates in a limited, defined scope to achieve client settlement objectives.
3

Negotiation Consultant

Whether preparing for difficult negotiations or actively working toward resolution, Jason helps clients develop strategy, anticipate obstacles, and find common ground. Serving as a strategic advisor and sounding board—Jason coaches you and your team on positioning, creative problem-solving, and productive negotiation tactics to optimize outcomes.
4

Case Evaluation

I offer private consultation to assist parties and counsel in evaluating their cases. You get an objective view of the strengths and weaknesses of your case, with the goal of helping you determine how best to position it toward the desired outcome.
5

Neutral Case Management

To facilitate mediation, I can manage your case discovery to minimize the time and cost of exchanging information required for productive negotiation. I help the parties build a case-management plan focused on the primary barriers to settlement, then work with them to obtain the necessary information cost-effectively. Most effective in pre-suit matters and the early stages of litigation.

Online Mediation — FAQ
Mediating by video,
on par with in person.
As a Certified Online Mediator I run virtual and hybrid sessions regularly — the common questions, answered.
Is online mediation as effective as in person?
Yes. Video technology allows a virtual session to unfold much the same as in person, with each participant attending by computer or mobile device. In many cases the benefits make it preferable, and hybrid sessions — some in person, some remote — add flexibility.
What do I need to participate?
Only the free Zoom Personal plan and a free account. Because I hold a Zoom Pro plan with unlimited meeting time, there’s no cost or time limit on your end. I’m happy to guide you through a short practice meeting beforehand to address any technology concerns.
Who can participate?
Anyone who would take part in a face-to-face mediation can participate online — including expert witnesses, structured-settlement consultants and translators.
How much does online mediation cost?
Fees are the same as in person — you receive the same level of service. With online mediation, though, there are no added costs for travel, facility fees or mediator travel time.
